چکیده

In this paper we use abstract vector spaces and their duals without any canonical basis. Some of our results can be extended to infinite dimensional vector spaces too, but here we consider only finite dimensional spaces. We focus on a general perturbation problem. Assume that B : V → V is a linear operator, which is perturbated to B = B + Q. We examine the question how the determinant and the inverse change, because of this perturbation. In our approach the operator Q is given as a sum of dyadic products Q = P

We present a perturbative calculation of the renormalization constants for the ∆B = 2 four-quark operators, which is needed to evaluate the bag parameters BB and BS in lattice QCD. The one-loop coefficients are calculated for the O(1/M) NRQCD heavy quark action and the O(a)-improved Wilson action for light quark. Using these coefficients, which remove O(αs/aM) error, we reanalyze our previous c...

We extend the application of vector and axial Ward identities to calculate bA, bP and bT , coefficients that give the mass dependence of the renormalization constants of the corresponding bilinear operators in the quenched theory. The extension relies on using operators with non-degenerate quark masses. It allows a complete determination of the O(a) improvement coefficients for bilinears in the...

We present our preliminary results for three-point correlation functions involving the operators entering the ∆S = 1 effective Hamiltonian with an active charm quark, obtained using overlap fermions in the quenched approximation. This is the first computation carried out for valence quark masses small enough so as to permit a matching to Quenched Chiral Perturbation Theory in the ε-regime. The ...

We apply finite-size recursion techniques based on the Schrödinger functional formalism to determine the renormalization group running of four-fermion operators which appear in the ∆S = 2 effective weak Hamiltonian of the Standard Model. Our calculations are done using O(a) improved Wilson fermions with Nf = 2 dynamical flavours. Preliminary results are presented for the four-fermion operator w...

We present results for the equation of state upto previously unreachable, high temperatures. Since the temperature range is quite large, a comparison with perturbation theory can be done directly.
